Israel says it assassinated 2 Hezbollah members in Lebanon

TEHRAN, Jan. 07 (MNA) – The Israeli army claimed to have killed two members of the Lebanese Hezbollah in its attack on the Khirbet Selm District in southern Lebanon on Tuesday.

According to Russia Today on Wednesday, the Israeli army issued a statement claiming to have assassinated two members of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the south of the country. According to the statement, these members were rebuilding Hezbollah military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army’s statement said that it carried out an attack in the Khirbet Selm District in southern Lebanon late on Tuesday, which resulted in the martyrdom of two Hezbollah members.

The Israeli army claimed that one of the two was an engineer and was leading efforts to rebuild Hezbollah’s military infrastructure.

The Israeli army shamelessly and without paying attention to its action, which is a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the continuation of attacks on Lebanese territories, claimed that the action of these Hezbollah members was a clear violation of the agreement between Tel Aviv and Lebanon.

Since the signing of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli regime, the regime's army has violated the ceasefire agreement thousands of times and launched air, missile, and ground attacks on various regions of Lebanon, occupying parts of southern Lebanon.
